Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an Estimator with a commercial general contractor.
• Experience estimating projects between $20-500 mil.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimator on individual projects including takeoffs, pricing, bid summaries, GC’s and final bid day preparations
• Prepare conventional bids and conceptual estimates to owners as assigned
• Review quantities, production rates, material quotes and totals for pricing prior to bid day and on bid day
• Ensure bid coverage from subcontractors on bid day and review bid requirements thoroughly
• Complete postmortem review of bid projects and transfer bid documents to Project Management in a timely manner
• Assist in evaluating subcontractor and major material quotations prior to bid day and on bid day
