Job summary

Pearce Services is seeking a Lead BESS Services Technician to head electrical and mechanical projects across the United States. You will manage field teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safe, efficient execution on mission-critical sites.

The role requires 5+ years of team leadership and 6+ years in high voltage electrical work, with extensive BESS and UPS experience. Travel is up to 100% across the U.S. and per diem is offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leading teams or supervising experience.
• 6+ years of electrical proficiency relating to medium to high voltage electrical systems and components.
• 6+ years of experience in utility-scale BESS, mission-critical electrical infrastructure, hyperscale and enterprise data centers, and UPS systems.
• Electrical and mechanical construction and commissioning experience.
• Refrigeration system troubleshooting with CRAH/CRAC and HVAC systems.
• Military experience with related technical disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews of 5–40+ technicians.
• Supervise subcontractors and multiple trades.
• Plan daily work activities and project execution.
• Manage customer expectations and field communications.
• Train and mentor junior technicians.
• Maintain a strong safety culture.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting with specified tools.
