Job summary

Pearce Services is seeking a Lead BESS Services Technician to head field teams across the United States. You will supervise crews of technicians, coordinate subcontractors, schedule daily activities, and ensure safety on mission-critical electrical installations and commissioning projects.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in high/medium voltage systems, BESS or UPS environments, and relevant certifications; travel is required up to 100% with per diem while on assignments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leading teams or supervising experience.
• 6+ years electrical proficiency with medium to high voltage systems.
• 6+ years experience with utility-scale BESS, critical electrical infrastructure, data centers and UPS.
• Electrical and mechanical construction and commissioning.
• Refrigeration troubleshooting with CRAH/CRAC and HVac systems.
• Military background in electrical power, maintenance or related fields.
• Certifications listed in the qualifications section.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews of 5–40+ technicians on complex projects.
• Supervise subcontractors and multiple trades.
• Plan daily work activities and project execution.
• Manage customer expectations and field communications.
• Train and mentor junior technicians.
• Maintain strong safety culture onsite.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems with meters, PV testing tools, and thermal imaging.
