Job summary

Redwood Materials is seeking a Senior BESS Superintendent, EPC, to lead field project teams onsite daily. You will coordinate with engineering, estimating, subcontractors, and field crews to ensure contract adherence, budget and schedule, while managing site access and medium to low voltage electrical work.

Travel to site locations is expected as needed. The role demands strong leadership, safety focus, and the ability to review complex project specs, plan production, and maintain quality across

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Willing to travel or relocate for project duration preferred (projects in IL, MI, TX, & future locations).
• Experience with 3D model reviews and Navisworks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises assigned project work and coordinates between engineering, estimating, subcontractors, and field crews to ensure compliance with contract drawings, specifications, budget, and schedule.
• Plans work methods, materials, equipment needs, and production schedules while updating forecasts and adjusting work plans to mitigate project risks.
• Reviews project specifications to support job setup, construction execution, inspections, and closeout activities.
• Manages site work, site access, electrical work, and BESS installation.
• Coordinates with internal teams, vendors, utilities, and regulatory agencies to ensure on-schedule delivery of equipment and inspections.
• Promotes safety, process control, and documentation standards across all site operations.
• Leads project alignment meetings and supports workforce development and training.
