Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center at Eastern Shore is a 100-bed residential facility offering inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation services. We are hiring BHTs for the second and third shifts; must have a valid driver's license.

Join our multidisciplinary team—leadership, compassion, and the ability to maintain a dignified recovery environment are essential. CPR certification required; high school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification required.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; warm, empathetic personality; ability to set firm boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations including intake, supervision, events, transportation, service, and medications.
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance with all Avenues rules and procedures.
