Position: Lead Behavioral Health Technician

Location: St. Charles, Missouri

Department: Recovery Services

Employment Type: Full-Time

Shift: Four 10-hour shifts

Job Summary:

Join our compassionate team as a Lead Behavioral Health Technician, guiding and supporting clients on their recovery journey. Lead a team of Technicians, ensuring a safe environment, and contribute to the success of our recovery programs and client well-being.

Your responsibilities include overseeing daily activities, guiding staff, managing crises, documenting client progress, and fostering a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and guidance to Behavioral Health Technicians during shifts.
• Oversee client activities, ensuring adherence to rules and communicating behaviors to the treatment team.
• Assist in client orientation regarding rights and rules.
• De-escalate crises under supervision.
• Document client behaviors and progress.
• Monitor detox clients for safety and recovery needs.
• Transport clients as needed.
• Train and supervise Technicians.
• Facilitate Technician meetings.
• Prepare group education materials.
• Complete mandatory trainings timely.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing, or related field, OR High School diploma/GED with two years of responsible employment.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicles.
• Must be at least 23 years old to operate a 15-passenger van.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable record.
