We are currently seeking a Lead Behavioral Health Technician to support our clients and staff. The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) is an integral part of our clients’ well-being and our daily operations. The BHT is the frontline support to our clients, going through every motion of the day with our clients. Deliverables/Principal Results Expected:

  • Supervises Behavioral Health Technicians and provides feedback on their performance.
  • Orients and trains new staff to unit and program.
  • Assists with interviewing and hiring BHTs.
  • Communicates with staff either verbally or in written communication logs.
  • Assists with employee disciplinary actions.
  • Develops employee schedule.
  • Conducts employee performance evaluations.
  • Assists with interventions with clients.
  • Coordinates activities including lectures, recreation and meetings with BHTs.
  • Follows objectives of treatment plans.
  • Maintains a safe, orderly and therapeutic physical environment for clients including crisis intervention.

Education, Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. Drug and Alcohol/Mental Health experience. Valid Driver’s License.
