LDH-South Central Louisiana Human Services Authority seeks a compassionate Professional Counselor 1-4 to deliver advanced behavioral health services in our Raceland-based Lafourche Behavioral Health Center. The role supports individualized and group counseling for a diverse caseload and includes developing person-centered care plans.

The position offers progression from Counselor 1 to 4 based on qualifications and includes collaboration with the clinic manager to address community needs.

Qualifications

• Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) or a Provisional Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (PLMFT).

Responsabilités

• Provide advanced clinical services through individual, family, and/or group counseling to a complex caseload of behavioral health clients.
• Prepare person-centered plans for clients based on recommended levels of care.
• Provide both written and verbal consultation to other agencies.
• Assist the clinic manager in designing and implementing programs that address community needs.
