Job summary

Dominion Services For All People in Hampton, VA seeks a Lead Behavioral Coach to guide individuals toward meaningful personal growth while leading a team dedicated to delivering high-quality behavioral and support services in the community. The role requires a Bachelor's (Master's preferred) and 3+ years in behavioral coaching or related fields, with supervisory experience valued.

You will work with families and multidisciplinary teams, maintain documentation, and apply evidence-based strategies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in behavioral coaching, case management, or related human services role working with children.
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of mental health disorders, trauma-informed care, or similar behavioral frameworks.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet state/agency compliance requirements.
• Compassionate, patient, and solutions-focused approach to client care.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee individualized behavioral coaching plans for clients
• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of behavioral coaches to ensure quality service delivery
• Conduct behavioral assessments and monitor client progress toward established goals
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and community stakeholders to support client outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation, case notes, and progress reports in compliance with organizational standards
• Facilitate group and individual coaching sessions using evidence-based behavioral strategies
• Identify and respond to crisis situations using appropriate de-escalation techniques
