Job summary

Ozark Center in Joplin, Missouri seeks a Behavior Therapist II to work one-on-one with students and lead a small team of providers within the treatment plan. You will engage in extensive data collection and collaborate with the clinical team under trauma-informed care principles.

The role involves delivering intensive ABA interventions, supervising BT-I and IMP-I colleagues, and contributing to schedule development and training. Evening/weekend hours and TB testing may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent; BCaBA option noted.
• One year of experience as a Registered Behavior Technician with children on the autism spectrum.
• Experience delivering Applied Behavior Analysis interventions.

Responsibilities

• Perform intensive ABA interventions with autistic children.
• Assist in creating, implementing, and teaching plans to reduce challenging behavior.
• Receive weekly or bi-monthly supervision.
• Collect and maintain data on client progress.
• Report writing as required.
• Provide weekly intervention to all clients in the treatment team.
• Provide weekly consultation to all providers on the team.
• Assist with weekly schedule development.
• Assist in coordinating and conducting new hire training.
• Complete billing forms and documentation as required.
