Job summary

Shore Educational Collaborative in Chelsea and Woburn seeks a collaborative Behavior Specialist to lead clinical supports for adults with ID/DD, developing individualized positive behavior supports to promote independence and quality of life. Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Behavior Analysis, or related field.
• Minimum of three years of experience supporting individuals with ID/DD, autism, or related behavioral health needs.
• Demonstrated experience conducting behavioral assessments and developing individualized Positive Behavior Support Plans.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and other assessments to identify functions of behaviors.
• Develop individualized Positive Behavior Support Plans and strategies reflecting best practices.
• Design and implement data collection systems and analyze behavioral data to monitor progress.
• Revise behavior plans and procedures based on data and assessments.
• Develop behavioral goals as part of Day Habilitation services and guide staff in teaching procedures.
• Facilitate social skills groups and other therapeutic programming.
• Generate consultation notes and maintain clinical documentation.
• Support participants in achieving goals through evidence-based interventions.
