Job summary

General Motors LLC seeks an experienced engineer to lead design, development, testing and validation of major propulsion and thermal components. You will collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve high-difficulty issues and ensure programs meet performance, timing and serviceability targets.

The role is hybrid, requiring collaboration across sites with domestic and international travel. Strong DFMEA/PFMEA, GPDP and PRTS knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum 4 years of Engineering experience.
• Knowledge of propulsion systems and basic controls.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with engineering tools and processes (ECM, GPDP, PRTS, DFMEA/PFMEA, P-Release).

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development programs to meet performance and timing requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering teams and customers.
• Release final designs for manufacturing.
• Lead warranty issue resolution and cost/quality improvements.
• Travel domestically and internationally.
