Job summary

CDG Group is seeking a Head Bartender for a high-energy, upscale NYC venue (Oscar Wilde). You will own the bar program, craft seasonal menus, and ensure top-tier presentation and speed during peak service.

The ideal candidate has 4–5 years of bartending experience in NYC, proven leadership, and deep knowledge of classic and modern cocktails. This role offers growth within a multi-location hospitality group and a competitive wage with incentives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–5 years bartending experience, NYC high-volume preferred.
• Proven leadership experience (Lead or Head Bartender).
• Strong knowledge of classic and modern cocktails.
• Ability to handle high-volume service without compromising quality.
• Experience with inventory systems and cost management.
• High energy and strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute the entire bar program.
• Create and maintain seasonal and themed cocktail menus.
• Ensure consistency, speed, and presentation standards.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and liquor cost control.
• Train, coach, and develop bartenders and barbacks.
• Work closely with management on events, promotions, and activations.
• Maintain a strong presence on the floor during peak service.
