Job summary

Field Guide Lodge in Stowe, VT is seeking a bartender with a positive customer service mindset to ensure guests have a wonderful time at the bar. You will take orders, craft cocktails, recommend beer and wine, and keep the bar clean throughout shifts.

The role requires excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and a customer-first attitude in a fast-paced environment. Prior food service experience is preferred, with a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Take patron orders and deliver a variety of beverages including wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks.
• Restock and clean the bar and perform side work for opening/closing.
• Manage inventory of wine, liquor, beer, and glassware; notify management of shortages.
• Record daily sales totals in the POS system and settle patron checks.
• Verify customer ages and serve alcohol per laws and company policy.
