Job summary

Horseshoe Bay Resort seeks a Lead Bartender for Waterfront Bar & Grill to craft exceptional cocktails and lead a busy lakeside bar team. You will guide daily service, coach staff, and ensure outstanding hospitality for resort guests, members, and visitors.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive knowledge of wines, spirits, and cocktails, and a commitment to safety and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience required.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Resort, hospitality, restaurant, or high-volume upscale bar experience preferred.
• Valid TABC Certificate required; Food Handler's Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Lead and direct bartenders and bar staff during each shift; delegate responsibilities.
• Oversee staffing needs and make staffing adjustments as needed to ensure smooth service.
• Provide attentive, professional service and create a welcoming guest experience.
• Maintain inventory levels, par levels, and ensure stock is properly managed.
• Coach and mentor team members and uphold service standards and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bar area with sanitation compliance.
