Job summary

Midmark Corporation in Versailles, OH seeks a Bartender Lead to deliver timely food and drinks while creating memorable guest experiences. You will manage inventory, train staff, and help curate the seasonal cocktail menu, ensuring safe, high-quality service throughout the guest journey.

The role requires 4+ years of bartending experience in hospitality, strong beverage knowledge, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Minimum of four (4) years’ experience as a bartender in a hotel or standalone bar.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Level 2 ServSafe Certification preferred or ability to become certified.
TIPS certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
Interpersonal communication skills and ability to work with customers.
Working knowledge of menus, ingredients and basic culinary terms.

Responsibilities

Maintains liquor, beer, and wine inventory and informs Food + Beverage Manager what is needed for the week.
Cleans and labels house cocktails and wines.
Trains bartender teammates on cocktails and food service.
Supports the F+B Manager in curating the cocktail menu each season.
Demonstrates passion for guest experiences and assists in all guest interactions from start to finish.
Ensures alcohol is served safely, responsibly, and legally.
Shares extensive knowledge of beverages with guests.
Communicates and collaborates with coworkers to ensure timely food delivery.
