Job summary

PGA National Resort & Spa is seeking a Restaurant/Outlets Manager to lead and coordinate restaurant teams, ensuring top-tier guest service and operation standards at our Palm Beach Gardens location.

You will oversee scheduling, staff coaching, and event planning while maintaining high energy and professional appearance across outlets. Flexible scheduling, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years high-volume bartending/food & beverage supervisor experience and one-year resort or country club experience required.
• Experience with Micros POS.
• Hotel experience managing multiple Outlets and Bars and understanding restaurant service.

Responsibilities

Summary:

Accountable for emphasizing duties like assessing customer satisfaction, assigning tasks to bartenders, training new employees, solving customer inquiries, managing restaurant staff work schedules and recommending special menu items. This position is responsible for assisting in directing and organizing the activities and services of the department.

Essential Job Functions:

• Lead and coach the team towards achieving “Championship” guest service and employee satisfaction results
• Conducting regular inspections of the restaurant to determine whether proper standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through promoting excellent service; respond to customer complaints tactfully and professionally.
• Maintain quality control for all food and beverages served.
• Responsible for supervision ofshort- and long-term planning of Outlets.
• Full understanding of employee engagement and accountability
• Responsible for maintaining a high energy, positive, professional appearance
• Plan, coordinate & manage special events and holiday functions
• Ability to take the initiative to run the outlets as a free-standing entity
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day/night shifts, weekends and holidays

Qualification Requirements:

• A true desire to understand and anticipate the needs of others in a fast-paced multi-outlet environment
• Must be proficient in general computer knowledge, including a working knowledge of point of sale systems (Micros)
• Candidates should be extremely detail oriented and organized
• Candidates should possess proven leadership skills
• Candidates should possess strong food and beverage knowledge. Beverage knowledge should include wine, spirits and beer
• Hotel experience with operating multiple Outlets and Bars and a thorough understanding of restaurant service

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent. Two years high volume bartending/food & beverage supervisor experience and one-year resort or country club experience required.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Demands:
