Good Company Doughnuts & Cafe is seeking a Barista Team Lead to guide a frontline café crew across Arlington, VA and Washington, DC. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional customer service, modeling quality beverage preparation, and training teammates in specialty coffee programs.

The position offers a mix of day shifts, weekend/holiday coverage, and a compensation range of $14–$16 per hour plus tips, with a guaranteed $20/hour minimum.

Qualifications

• Experience in specialty coffee (min. 3 years).
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Lift up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a welcoming attitude and guide customers through menus.
• Know customers and foster professional relationships and preferences.
• Maintain clean and hygienic work areas and equipment.
• Describe tasting notes of specialty beverages to customers.
• Regularly taste coffee and tea beverages to ensure quality.
• Operate Point of Sale accurately and handle transactions.
• Assist with opening/closing/cleaning checklists.
