Original X Productions in New York City seeks a Lead Barista to supervise Café Operations at our flagship location. You will oversee daily activities, train staff, and ensure an exceptional guest experience as the on-duty leader in the café.

The role is part-time with a competitive hourly wage and requires a NYC Food Handler’s Certificate, weekend availability, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Join a team that values safety, excellence, and fun in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• NYC Food Handler’s Certificate required.
• Standing for long periods.
• Able to work a minimum of three shifts including a weekend day.
• Able to move inventory/equipment up to 25 pounds.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the CaféServices team for the benefit of the company.
• Implement policies and standards for the café and food/beverage department.
• Train and develop a world-class retail café operations team.
• Participate in defining team culture within the café operations.
• Help establish personnel standards for the café and food/beverage department.
• Be part of the Leader on Duty (LOD) rotation.
• Oversee inventory levels and alert management for re-orders.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
