SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting Hospitality Supervisor in the day-to-day operations of Jumping Coyote Espresso Bar. Responsible for preparation and service of all espresso bar food and beverage menu items. Responsible for the daily set-up and break-down of this work area, maintaining it in a neat and sanitary condition. Maintains the highest standards of menu item preparation following standard recipes to assure consistency of all beverages served.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties: (Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to)
- Assists in the ordering, stocking and maintenance of product inventory.
- Assists Hospitality Supervisor in developing appropriate schedules in a timely manner.
- Prepares and serves food and beverages in the Espresso Bar.
- Follows approved recipes for the preparation of beverages to assure consistency while maintaining portion control and quality standards.
- Cleans and maintains proper sanitation of the work area and equipment.
- Performs routine equipment cleaning and standard operating maintenance as needed to keep the equipment in good working order.
- Requisitions supplies as needed to keep the station properly stocked and ready for business.
- Enters orders into the point-of-sale system, handles cash and completes transactions.
- Provides courteous guest service and adheres to Guest Service Standards.
- Good judgment and leadership qualities while supervising Team Members.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must possess a high school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
- Must have one year of experience as a Barista; previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Must complete Food Handler or ServSafe and Responsible Alcohol Service certification or have proof of current certification.
- Must possess a cooperative and friendly nature.
- Must have ability to communicate and follow directions effectively.
- Must have ability to learn and operate point-of-sale system.
- Must have money-handling experience.
- Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test.
- Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license.
- Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
Physical Demands
- Must be physically able to perform all job requirements.
- Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds and occasionally more with assistance.
- Must be able to work in a non-smoke free environment.
- Must be able to work in a noisy environment.
- Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events.
