Job summary

The Division of Banking (DOB) within DORA is responsible for the regulation of state chartered banks, trust companies, and state licensed money transmitters; conducts examinations of state chartered institutions and licensees; and enforces laws to protect the public interest.

This position, SCA 2062, will manage examination personnel, supervise reports, and ensure thorough reviews, with responsibilities for communicating findings to management and the board of directors.

Qualifications

Eight (8) years full-time professional work experience in a financial institution, domestic state or federal commercial bank or trust company; or with a banking regulator.
At least one year of this experience must include leading teams and supervising work.
Document experience in detail in your application; part-time experience will not be inferred.

Responsibilities

Determining examination objectives and areas of review.
Setting priorities to complete tasks within deadlines.
Supervising trainees and developing staff.
Preparing and reviewing examination work papers to support findings.
Interpreting rules and regulations for examiners and management.
Communicating findings to bank/trust management and the board of directors.
Providing overall conclusions and recommendations at exit.
