Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the overall program of instrumental music for the school(s) assigned.
• Provide opportunities for band participation in curricular and extracurricular events including concerts, football games, pep rallies, parades, UIL activities.
• Arrange transportation, lodging, and meals for out-of-town events.
• Establish and enforce performance and academic requirements; verify student eligibility for band participation.
• Develop plans for improvement and growth of the band program and document preparation as required.
