Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a related role preferred.
• Experience as a baker or cook required.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Proven knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations (handling, sanitation, storage).
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and assigns daily work to a food service team and oversees task completion.
• Trains and guides staff on duties, food safety, sanitation, and cooking methods.
• Cooks and prepares a variety of food per production guidelines and recipes.
• Sets up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming and peeling.
• Safely uses utensils including knives.
• Operates ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses various cooking methods.
• Arranges, garnishes, and portions foods as per guidelines.
• Stores food following safety policies and procedures.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor toward guests and coworkers.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures.
