The role emphasizes containerized deployments, AI-assisted development, and collaboration with Agile teams, with on-site work and a 9/80 schedule.

Qualifications

• Active TS clearance with the ability to obtain SCI.
• 9+ years of relevant experience; graduate degree optional
• Lead software/integration engineering in DoD or mission systems
• Strong backend, AWS, Linux, and CI/CD experience

Responsibilities

• Develop secure, scalable backend services and logic for mission apps.
• Lead software/integration teams and drive development lifecycle best practices.
• Deploy and maintain apps in AWS with security and cost awareness.
• Engage with customers daily to refine requirements.
• Prepare technical designs, roadmaps, and docs.
• Produce documentation for design, architecture, deployment, and sustainment.
• Support Agile software teams and Scrum ceremonies.
• Build and deploy mission apps in high-security environments.
• Obtain/maintain Security+ or DoD IAT II certification within 6 months.
