Job summary

Worky in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Specialist, Software Engineer with TS/SCI clearance to support software integration, deployment, testing, and troubleshooting in a Linux environment. Strong hands-on experience with Python, JavaScript or Java, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines is required, with familiarity in AI-assisted development tools.

The role involves collaboration across software and infrastructure teams, cloud development using AWS, and occasional travel to Patrick Space Force Base.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience; or a graduate degree with 2+ years.
Active TS/SCI clearance.
Security+ certification or DOD IAT Level II within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Leverage AWS to build robust cloud-based applications.
Familiar with CAP and high-side AWS environments.
Ensure scalable, secure, and cost-effective applications using AWS services.
Engage with customers to understand requirements and provide cloud-based solutions.
Prepare architectural designs, implementation plans, and roadmaps aligned with mission goals.
Produce detailed documentation to support design, development, and deployment processes.
Adapt to support various mission areas with flexibility.
