Canonical is hiring a Senior/Staff/Lead Engineer for Launchpad to shape open-source collaboration. You will architect a mature Python-driven platform, expand packaging workflows, and improve developer workflows. You’ll work with a globally distributed team, influencing design and delivering high-velocity, scalable services.

Ideal candidates excel in Python, web apps at scale, and distributed infrastructure, with Ubuntu packaging knowledge. Remote role, international travel 2–4 times per year.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM or similar.
• Proven Python development excellence with production-ready code.
• Experience maintaining large-scale web apps and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Ubuntu/debian packaging and deployment.
