Walt Disney Attractions Technology LLC is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive backend services across a polyglot stack (PHP, Go, Python, Java) powering Disney’s POS infrastructure. You will own architecture, modernization, and end-to-end delivery, collaborating with product and operations to ensure reliable guest experiences.

You will lead a team, set technical direction, and advocate for scalable, observable systems while mentoring engineers and guiding complex migrations across platforms.

Formación

• 7+ years designing, building, and operating large-scale backend systems.
• 2+ years leading engineers or acting as a technical lead across SDLC.
• Experience with PHP 8+ and Go for microservices; Java/Spring experience desired.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and personally build scalable backend services and APIs across a polyglot platform.
• Define migration patterns for PHP/Go to Java/Spring modernization without disrupting park operations.
• Own full SDLC from planning to production support and post-incident analysis.
• Mentor backend engineers and foster engineering excellence.
