Job summary
TEKsystems Global Services (TGS) is seeking a Lead Data Engineer with strong Microsoft Fabric and Azure analytics experience to design scalable data platforms. You will mentor engineering teams and collaborate with architects, AI engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to drive data-driven solutions.
This role requires up to 50% travel to customer sites and is based in Dallas, TX, with remote work options.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in data engineering with 3+ years on Azure.
- Strong hands-on in Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Factory, Synapse.
- Experience with Python, PySpark, SQL and Spark processing.
- Ability to mentor engineers and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver modern, scalable data platforms using Microsoft Fabric and Azure analytics.
- Architect data platform solutions aligned with data management strategy.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead POD delivery with cross-functional teams.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for data workloads and ensure data governance.
