Job summary

Tekgence Inc. seeks a Lead Azure Engineer/Architect with 8+ years in IT and 4-5 years focused on Azure architecture and cloud migration.

You will design, plan, and execute large-scale migrations to Azure, leveraging IaC and modern security practices while guiding governance and CAF-based Landing Zone design. Ideal candidates have Azure AZ-305 or AZ-400 preferred, strong DevOps experience, and a track record of modernizing workloads with PaaS, API Management, and event-driven architectures.

Qualifications

• Design and migrate large Azure deployments with modernization focus.
• Implement IaC using Bicep/ARM and automate deployments.
• Secure, scalable network architectures and traffic management.

Responsibilities

• Expert in designing, planning, and executing large-scale migrations to Azure, including subscription, lift-and-shift and modernization approaches.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code using Bicep, ARM Templates, PowerShell, and Azure CLI for automated deployments.
• Skilled in building secure, scalable network architectures and implementing Azure Front Door and Application Gateway for traffic management and security.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline automation, testing, and application deployment.
• Strong background in modernizing workloads using Azure PaaS services, API Management, and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on knowledge on Azure Frint door.
• Extensive knowledge of Azure governance, policy management, and Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) for Landing Zone design.
