Job summary

PEXA Group is seeking a hands-on Lead AWS Platform Engineer to join the PEXA Go team. You’ll shape the platform strategy and architecture, and translate that into reliable, secure infrastructure.

This is an individual contributor role with technical leadership across engineering and operations. You’ll own design, deployment, upgrades and operational excellence for AWS services (EKS, RDS, Aurora, MSK, S3, IAM).

Qualifications

• Experience building and operating production platforms on AWS.
• Strong ownership and leadership of platform delivery and reliability.
• Ability to design, implement and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and improve AWS services that support PEXA Go.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Plan and deliver platform upgrades, lifecycle work and technical improvements.
• Improve platform reliability, security, observability and cost efficiency.
• Lead on-call rotations and incident response.
• Communicate architectural direction through reviews and documentation.
