Volkswagen Financial Services seeks a Lead MLOps Engineer to own and advance the enterprise AI platform on AWS, balancing hands‑on coding with architectural leadership. You will shape the multi‑year roadmap and enforce standards for scalable, secure AI workloads across the organization.

You will collaborate with Data, Governance, and Risk teams, delivering production‑quality code and guidance to accelerate adoption while ensuring compliance and observability across the platform.

Formación

• 12–15+ years of software/data/ML engineering experience.
• 7+ years in MLOps or productionizing ML at scale.
• 5–7 years working with large data sources for extraction/analysis.
• Top technical IC on ML platform with multi-year strategy ownership.
• Experience designing and operating end-to-end ML platforms on AWS.
• Proven ability to drive enterprise MLOps standards and architectures.
• Deep understanding of ML lifecycle, deployment and serving patterns.

Responsabilidades

• Own multi-year technical strategy and hands-on implementation of the AWS-based MLOps platform for enterprise scale (35%).
• Lead horizon-scanning across MLOps/GenAI/agentic AI; prototype patterns for platform decisions (e.g., model registry, feature store, observability).
• Design and refine CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and rollback patterns for ML/GenAI workloads; write production code for pipelines and tooling.
• Evolve enterprise MLOps standards, reference architectures, and golden paths with engagement across AI CoE and business units.
• Lead as senior hands-on technical leader, conducting design reviews and pairing on complex problems, coding alongside teams.
• Partner with AI Governance, GRC, Risk to embed controls for model risk management, security, auditability, and compliance by design.
