Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer/Manufacturing Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 2+ years in test engineering or manufacturing/test environments (or MS in related field).
• Proven ability to manage technical teams and stakeholders.
• Experience with test methodologies, equipment, and validation processes.
• Experience implementing departmental procedures and standards.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain Secret Clearance.
• Ability to work full-time at Huntsville, AL with up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities

• Direct and develop a team of test engineers and manufacturing technologists.
• Develop and implement test operations standards for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Review testing methods and specify tests; recommend equipment changes.
• Drive adoption of Agile and digital engineering (JIRA, Confluence).
• Maintain Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in MS Project with scheduling team.
• Serve as primary customer interface to clarify requirements and provide updates.
• Lead design reviews, customer meetings, and coordination with suppliers/subcontractors.
• Prioritize schedules and resources to align with timelines.
• Leverage cross-functional Leidos resources and manage outsourcing relationships.
• Mentor team members and balance growth with partnerships.
• Assist in evaluating/test equipment purchases and capital investments.
• Provide hands-on guidance for complex test system challenges.
