Job summary

Vast, located in Long Beach, is seeking a Supervisor of Avionics Manufacturing to lead a technician team in the development of systems for artificial-gravity space stations. This full-time position requires expertise in avionics and manufacturing processes, along with leadership experience.

The successful candidate will dedicate efforts to optimizing workflow and quality assurance within a fast-paced environment, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in a technical field, preferably aerospace.
• 3 years in a leadership role guiding teams.
• Experience within a quality system such as AS9100.

Responsibilities

• Organize and prioritize daily tasks for the technician team.
• Train and onboard new team members.
• Support manufacturing process optimization for avionics systems.
• Participate in design reviews to improve manufacturability.
