Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Appleton, WI seeks an RS Avionics Installer III to lead and support avionics installations. You will fabricate wire harnesses, install and terminate wiring, and assist in functional testing of electrical systems, reading blueprints and schematics to ensure accuracy.

The role requires 2 years of aviation electronics schooling or 3 years of related avionics experience, with strong mechanical and teamwork skills.

Competenze

• Two years of accredited aviation electronics schooling with one year related work experience.
• Alternatively, three years of avionics/electronic career field experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.

Mansioni

• Provide work direction to technicians and ensure on-time completion of tasks.
• Install/modify/fabricate wiring and electrical components per blueprints and drawings.
• Train team members and contribute to employee development.
• Assist Engineering in resolving problems and perform repairs per direction.
• Maintain required logs and records.
• Ensure work meets regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
• Enforce FOD, tool control, 5-S and safety regulations.
• Check all work for defect-free assembly prior to final inspection.
• Coordinate shift changes and cover for team coordinator as needed.
