Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace seeks an Avionics Installer I for our Appleton, WI facility. You will assist in removal and installation of avionics electrical components, fabricating wire harnesses, and performing ring-out and functional tests under supervision.

The position is first shift, full-time, with on-site work. Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, basic electrical knowledge, and the ability to read schematics and use a multimeter.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six (6) months accredited schooling in aviation electronics or general electrical experience preferred.
• Must know how to use a multimeter.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
• Strong written and verbal skills; English language proficiency required.
• Computer skills and general software knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assists in installations, modifications and the fabrication of wiring and electrical components, fixtures, and equipment per drawings.
• Assists to complete tasks within allotted time.
• Maintains required logs and records.
• Complies with the company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program and all safety regulations.
• Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools as assigned by Supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
