Job summary

Lanteris Space LLC is seeking a senior engineering leader to oversee Spacecraft C&DH subsystem design, architecture, and data handling. You will coordinate with AIT and Systems Engineering to ensure clean hand-offs and robust hardware development across missions.

The role emphasizes team mentorship, cost and schedule ownership, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced aerospace environment. A BS or MS in a related field is required with extensive space hardware experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field; MS preferred.
• 8+ years in aerospace or related field with leadership experience on engineering/product teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead your team: responsible for Spacecraft Subsystem C&DH, design architectures, wirelists, and data buses.
• Mentor, train, develop your team and provide opportunities based on needs.
• Ensure the highest quality of deliverables to stakeholders.
• Foster a collaborative working environment within your team and across the organization.
• Be a partner, support stakeholders in new architectures and hardware development with Systems Engineering and AIT.
• Continuously improve product or process inefficiencies and optimize.
• Own portfolio cost models and budget, proactively managing risks and opportunities for proposals.
• Own portfolio schedule and coordinate with peers to meet stakeholder needs.
