Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 8 years avionics/electrical experience; or two years schooling and six years related experience.
• FAA A&P license or repairman certificate within 30 days.
• FCC license or NCATT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, and completes tasks on work authorizations to meet the master schedule.
• Coordinates Electrical and Avionics activities to meet aircraft schedules and deadlines.
• Supervises and instructs electrical technicians with technical guidance and proper procedures of troubleshooting electrical/avionics systems, routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Reviews daily job charging for all personnel to ensure accuracy of inputs.
• Maintains a preventive maintenance program on test equipment, hand tools, and special tools.
• Maintains knowledge of Aircraft Service Changes, Customer Bulletins, inspection schedules, vendor information and procedures.
• Enforces safety programs including FOD, tool control, 5-S rules, and related safety regulations.
• Able to adapt to sudden schedule changes and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Up to 25% travel.
