Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer 2 to provide systems engineering design capability to the Data Transfer Systems product team. The role supports full life cycle development for Data Storage and Displays products, with emphasis on architecture, requirements management, and verification.

The candidate will work across hardware, software, and manufacturing, leading systems portions of design reviews and collaborating with customers to ensure quality, cost, and schedule goals are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of systems design and development experience.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance for avionics systems definition, design, integration, and verification.
• Lead systems portion of design reviews (SRR through PRR) with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Hardware, Software, Systems, Test and Manufacturing teams to identify risks and optimize product capability.
• Develop and execute requirements verification in informal and formal settings.
