Clune Construction seeks a Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on aviation interior projects in Chicago. You will oversee site access, scheduling, logistics, safety, quality, and coordination with the Project Manager from pre-construction through closeout.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing commercial interior and/or internal fit-out aviation projects.
• Experience managing all aspects of field operations including scheduling, quality control and coordinating sub-contractors.
• Conscientious and flexible, with a strong work ethic and team-first attitude.
• Highly motivated with strong skills in time management and prioritization.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; ability to relate to high-end clientele.

Responsibilities

• Lead RFP responses, including developing presentations and leading the pitch.
• Supervise and participate in pre-construction scheduling, logistics, and planning.
• Create accurate project schedules and weekly field updates with owner milestones.
• Prepare schedules and phasing plans for budgeting and bidding.
• Manage multiple large/complex projects with high-quality control.
• Supervise internal field team, trade partners, and owner vendors.
• Promote teamwork and open communication on the project site.
• Proactively resolve on-site challenges with minimal cost impact.
• Be an ambassador for safety culture and OSHA standards on site.
• Coordinate plans with architects/engineers and maintain field document control.
• Develop Superintendents and Assistants through mentoring and training.
• Contribute to growth via client relationships and mentoring programs.
• Develop training content on industry and company practices.
