Zantech is looking for an upcoming talented Lead Audio Visual (A/V) and Video Teleconference (VTC) Technician to provide technical support for classified and unclassified Audio Visual (A/V) and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems.

Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:

  1. Serve as the single technical point of contact to support day-to-day VTC/AV operations
  2. Engineer solutions and install infrastructure upgrades to improve VTC operational state
  3. Provide technical leadership for crisis response during exercises and real-world events
  4. Maintain capabilities of the integrated AV system at the ANGRC's Command Center
  5. Respond to system mission-impacting degradations on the same business day
  6. Develop AV solutions to meet current and future needs of ANGRC infrastructure
  7. Coordinate emergency support services for catastrophic failures of mission-critical equipment
  8. Provide 24/7 on-call support when required (approximately 4-6 times per year)
  9. Lead installation and configuration of complex AV/VTC systems
  10. Coordinate with vendors for proprietary support (Direct TV, Verizon, Avitecture, etc.)
  11. Develop and load program scripts to mixers and control panels
  12. Provide monthly status reports detailing system changes, issues, and maintenance
  13. Train and supervise VTC technicians on new systems and technologies

Required Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions:

  1. Advanced knowledge of Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems administration
  2. Experience with Cisco communications systems
  3. Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills with senior military and government civilian leaders
  4. Ability to speak publicly, facilitate training, and provide feedback to senior leadership
  5. Programming/configuration experience with VTC codecs, video controllers, AMX Roomview, and audio control systems
  6. Knowledge of LAN/WAN (IP and ISDN) connectivity for VTC operation
  7. Experience managing equipment lifecycle planning and replacement
  8. Analytical skills to evaluate and recommend the most efficient and cost-effective solutions

Required Certifications/Education:

  1. IAT Level 2 certification (within 6 months of contract start if granted elevated rights to VTC servers)
  2. Industry certifications related to Cisco communications systems
  3. Annual Information Assurance (IA) training completion required
  4. AT Level 1 Awareness Training
  5. OPSEC Training

Required Security Clearance:

  1. US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Top Secret or higher clearance, per contract requirements.
