Job summary

Ultimate Technologies Group (UTG) is hiring a Lead Audio-visual Technician based in Fishers, IN, with travel to client sites across the Indianapolis area. The role requires leadership, strong technical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects.

Occasional out-of-state travel is expected, with a company van provided for site-to-site travel. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of AV experience, Crestron/Biamp knowledge, CTS certification, and a willingness to lift heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of AV technician experience.
• Crestron and Biamp experience.
• Commercial audio-visual installation experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.
• Able to regularly lift 50+ pounds.
• AVIXA CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I (or similar) certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of audio-visual technicians.
• Assist in project preparation and testing of equipment.
• Install audio-visual technology for standard and custom projects; manage timelines.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues during projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, sales, and engineers to align on goals.
• Represent UTG professionally when interacting with customers.
• Travel to client sites in the Indianapolis area; occasional out-of-state travel.
