Job summary

New Era Technology is seeking a Project Manager to lead and coordinate AV, life safety, and large venue projects for the GVC Division. You’ll manage scope, schedule, and budgets, serving as the main client and internal stakeholder contact throughout the project lifecycle.

This role requires 5+ years in technology project management, PMP preferred, and experience with ERP, ConnectWise, and collaboration platforms. Travel about 25% and a Bachelor’s degree are expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading complex projects across multiple teams and geographies.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in technology project management (AV, security, etc.).
• Experience with enterprise collaboration platforms (Teams, Zoom, Webex) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of project budgeting, cost control, and profitability metrics, including payroll oversight and resource allocation.
• Skilled in executing operational workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Strong organizational & leadership skills including mentoring and performance management.
• Knowledge of industry standards and internal policies related to project execution, documentation, and reporting.
• Superior written and verbal communications skills.
• Discretion and good judgment with sensitive information.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize time.
• Commitment to evolving technologies and products.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables with clients and internal teams.
• Develop detailed plans, schedules, and resource allocations using ERP and tools like ConnectWise and Microsoft products.
• Schedule staff and subcontractors for installations and manage workflows.
• Track budgets, milestones, and deliverables to maintain profitability.
• Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle with quality and scope alignment.
• Maintain regular WIP reviews with team leads for forecasting and reporting.
• Collaborate with PMO and integration services for forecasting and resource allocation.
• Ensure clean project closeout and transition to managed services.
