Job summary

Nexreq is seeking an Installation Supervisor to oversee the installation, commissioning, testing, and field support of retail entertainment and cinema theater systems. The role requires hands-on expertise in AV installation, networking, and mechanical assemblies, with travel up to 50% to support multiple venues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Tech degree or certification in electronics, engineering, audio-visual technology, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of technical installation experience in cinema/AV.
• Experience on construction sites with practical knowledge of construction processes.
• Strong knowledge of networked AV systems.
• Experience with AV installation, system integration, testing, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support installation of cinema/AV systems in venues.
• Oversee installation of video projectors and mechanical seating components.
• Verify facilities meet client design drawings and technical requirements.
• Perform network connections and system integration with client systems.
• Configure, calibrate, and commission AV and entertainment systems.
• Conduct system testing, adjustments, and final quality checks before turnover.
• Provide operator training for theater personnel after installation.
• Coordinate client acceptance and grand opening support.
• Perform field service and maintenance for installed systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical, mechanical, networking, and AV issues.
