Job summary

EOS IT Solutions is hiring a Lead AV Installation Technician to oversee deployment and maintenance of AV and TelePresence systems across client sites. You will lead installation teams, ensure performance, and serve as a technical escalation point, while traveling up to 70% to national sites.

The role requires hands-on experience with Extron, Cisco, Crestron, and AMX, plus strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Led AV installation or engineering teams.
• Experience terminating, configuring, and programming AV equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical plans and perform configurations.
• Experience with AV/VC integrations.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% and travel nationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and de-installation of AV/TelePresence products.
• Supervise AV Technicians during projects.
• Configure endpoints and infrastructure.
• Conduct room audits for optimal performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance and readiness checks.
• Resolve equipment failures and provide solutions.
• Complete post-installation assessments and user acceptance testing.
• Install software upgrades and manage break/fix and RMA requests.
• Act as technical escalation point for ongoing faults.
• Coordinate with clients on-site per SLAs.
• Provide project reporting to management.
• Document hardware failures and supervise rack building.
