Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Boise, ID is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and to mentor a shop team. The role rewards performance with a flat-rate pay model aligned to task completion.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of automotive repair experience, ASE certifications in several areas, and strong communication skills to explain repairs to customers. On-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• 5 years of automotive repair experience or proven skills.
• ASE certification in at least 3 of A1-A8 (L1 allowed).
• Ability to explain technical diagnoses to non-technical customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications: brakes, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers clearly.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing activities.
• Maintain ASE certifications as required within two years.
