Christian Brothers Automotive in Simpsonville, SC is seeking a Shop Foreman/Lead Technician to manage workflow, mentor technicians, and ensure quality repairs for guest vehicles. You will partner with the Service Manager to optimize shop efficiency and technician performance.

The role requires ASE A1-A8 certification, strong diagnostic skills, and a track record of meeting hourly goals. The position offers full-time permanence with a schedule that keeps weekends free for family time.

Competenze

• 7+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
• Excellent automotive diagnostic skills.
• ASE A1-A8 Certifications required; Master L1 preferred.
• Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles.
• Meet or exceed hourly goals.
• Professional appearance and strong communication.
• A desire for long-term career development.

Mansioni

• Distribute work to technicians with service dept.
• Oversee technician workloads and overall workflow in the service area.
• Coach technicians to prepare for certifications.
• Mentor new technicians.
• Assist with diagnosing and repairing vehicles when necessary.
• Conduct quarterly technician performance touchpoints.
• Manage shop supplies and equipment and ensure safety standards.
• Oversee technician work schedules and shift coverage.
• Communicate customer concerns with the service dept and assist with resolutions.
