Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Brakes diagnosis/repair expertise.
• Alignment/steering/suspension skills.
• General automotive maintenance & tire repair experience.
• Federal/state/local certifications where applicable.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brakes, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Obtain/maintain ASE certifications within two years; tests paid; bonus per test passed.
