Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while using leadership and mentoring skills to drive a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction. The role offers a sign-on bonus and a competitive pay range.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing brake/hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical and suspension systems, staying current with new automotive tech, and training other technicians.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience diagnosing brakes, alignment, steering and suspension.
• Experience in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certifications/licenses where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brakes, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications within two years of employment; testing fees paid by the company.
