Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Lead Technician in Milford, Delaware to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while applying leadership and mentoring to improve customer care and satisfaction.

This role features a flat-rate pay model with on-going formal training and ASE certification opportunities, plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, paid vacation and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Strong brakes diagnosis/repair skills and suspension/alignment expertise.
• Experience with tire repair and general automotive maintenance.
• Ability to explain technical diagnoses to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills are required.
• 5 years of automotive repair experience or vocational training; ASE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel, electrical, suspension and A/C systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical customers clearly.
• Stay current with evolving automotive technology through paid training.
• Assist and train technicians; pursue ASE certifications within 2 years.
