Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is seeking a Lead Technician for Bridgestone Retail Operations in the Wilmington area to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while guiding a team toward higher customer satisfaction.

You will stay current with evolving automotive technology through paid training and help train others. Competitive flat-rate pay, benefits, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• MinimumQualifications listed in job posting: valid driver's license; brakes/diagnosis skills; alignment/steering/suspension diagnosis; general automotive maintenance and tire repair; relevant certifications/licenses as required.
• Preferred qualifications include ASE certifications in multiple areas and 5 years automotive repair experience or vocational-technical training.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications: brakes, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs clearly to non-mechanics.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment; bonus for tests passed.
